Nick Burton, vice president
Robert Wade, treasurer
Eric Ferreri, secretary
2011 budget review and approval, 2012 budget
We have a quorum. More than 10 percent of our 163 lots.
Highlights:
We’re dropping the monthly HOA dues from $48 to $35, thanks to significant savings realized in 2011 through a restructuring of our management contact resulting in savings of $600 a month, and the hiring of a new landscaper, resulting in $700 a month savings.
The budget passed unanimously.
We have a surplus and discussed ways to spend and what projects to take on.
Possibilities include:
Fix drainage problems and re-grade the playground prior to re-mulching or possibly investing in rubber mulch.
Landscaping improvements at the entrances.
Turf repair
New, nicer looking benches at Few Circle
Irrigation on the Albritton circle.
Nobody expressed interest in joining the HOA board.
The social committee announced our next community event, the annual luminary night. It will be Saturday, Dec. 10, with a rain date the next night.
New Business:
On paving: We’ve heard the entire neighborhood will soon receive its top coat of asphalt.
Lighting on Kilgo: Several residents have asked about additional lighting. That’s up to the city and we, collectively, or residents individually would have to inquire with the city.
Adjourned, 8:50 p.m.
